Whilst we pride ourselves on our creativity, we understand that creativity alone cannot sell products or services. Our work is driven by strategic thought and good design sense, providing practical solutions that get results, from blue chip to sole traders, we create visual communications that really hit the mark.
I Love Oldham
Created under a project for Peshkar Productions, the ‘I Love Oldham’ logo will be used for marketing purposes in conjunction with ‘Life in a Northern Town’ projects, however, objections were raised by the local council who felt that it was too similar to the Oldham Council branding…that was kind of the idea!
The concept of branding was born in the course of evolution of the “business process”. However, during the next phase emerged the concept of the corporate identity. Although often, the two terms brand and corporate identity are used interchangeably, they are two different notions.
While branding relates to the emotional relationship between customer and a business, the corporate identity is all about the look and feel of the business. The latter helps a customer to distinguish his favourite brand from the crowd of other businesses.
Projects
No one likes a show off but we feel it’s important to give a glimpse of how we implement our practises, we hope you like what you see…
Total Demolition
Although our suggested colour palette was far removed from our client’s ideas, the client is king and the Orange and Blue remains their corporate colour today. The rugged identity we created now brings structure to what was a chaotic and poorly executed company appearance.
Go Networking
A new identity for our business networking group located in Warrington, Cheshire.
A change from the usual drab and business like appearances of some networking organisations, this new identity reflects the relaxed nature of this ‘pay-as-you-go’ facility.
Life in a Northern Town
A Peshkar Productions project, reflecting the ideas of the client’s carnival, festival and summery perceptions of what is inherently viewed as a dull, industrial working class town.
Although this version wasn’t selected by our client, it’s still very much a favourite of ours.
Brookes Bell
A company who’s identity has remained unchanged for many years, struggled to break away from the traditional and safety of their British Racing Green and Metallic Gold which has been the figure head of the company based in Liverpool and London since it’s launch. We gave it a modern appearance and a fresh coat of colours.
Utility Capital Management
We presented several proposals for this client but ultimately the branding evolved into this elegant, stable offering, pleasing all partners and their target audiences alike, the new UCM identity will help promote the company as trustworthy advocate of the services and products they offer to all of their clients.
Mersey Maritime
Subtle tweaks to an established brand, new font, new colours and the introduction of 4 subsidiary companies to form a group, all of which required our attention.
This has lead to the delivery of 5 distinct brand identities.
